Exciting News!

From a Sunday-focused church to an everyday, disciple-making church

We believe God is leading The Well Church into an exciting new chapter. We are moving from being a church centred on Sunday gatherings to becoming an everyday church - communities of people following Jesus, wherever we are, every day of the week.

Our heart is to listen to the Holy Spirit and respond to His leading in everyday life. We want to take the good news of Jesus into our neighbourhoods, workplaces and relationships, finding people in whom God is already at work and helping new communities of disciples take root where they live.

As these disciple-making communities grow, our prayer is that they will multiply and become churches in their own right - just as we see in the book of Acts.

As we have shared this vision, many in our church family have said, “This is what we have felt we should be doing for a long time.” There is a growing sense that Sunday gatherings alone are not enough. We want to live out our faith together throughout the week, following the example of the early church.

Our final gathering at the cinema will be on Sunday 15 November 2026.

From there, we will meet regularly in disciple-making communities, while continuing to come together every few weeks for fellowship, teaching, encouragement, worship and time in God’s presence.

Would you like to host a disciple-making community? Please speak to Clive or Sam. We would love to connect with you and explain what that could look like.

We believe God is reshaping His church, calling us beyond some of the structures we have inherited in the West and back towards the simple, Spirit-led, disciple-making life we see in the New Testament.

God is on the move. We’re excited for what’s ahead. Come and be part of it!
